Faith Software, Inc. runs on volunteers who believe technology can serve the Church. We're actively looking for people to serve in the roles below, whether you have a few hours a month or a few hours a week.
Everything Faith Software gives away — free training for church leaders, a free church app and website, a daily Scripture practice, and the Coptic Book of Hours — is built and kept running by a very small team. Volunteers are how that work reaches more churches and believers than we could reach alone.
You don't need to be a professional, and you don't need to commit to a schedule you can't keep. What matters most is that you share the conviction behind the work: that technology should serve faith, not the other way around, and that no church or believer should go without good tools because of cost.

Help design, build, and maintain myChelper, SOAPaDay, and Agpeya — mobile and web development.

Social Media Managers
Grow our reach and tell the story of what God is doing through Faith Software across social platforms.
- Plan and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, and X
- Engage our community of churches and app users
- Track engagement and suggest ways to grow our audience
Content Creators & Copywriters
Write and produce content that communicates our mission clearly and points people to Christ.
- Write website copy, blog posts, and email newsletters
- Create devotional or discipleship-oriented content for SOAPaDay
- Produce video, graphic, or audio content for our apps and ministries
How volunteering works
Step 1
Tell us about yourself
Fill out the short application below. Tell us what you're good at, what you'd enjoy, and roughly how much time you have. "Not sure yet" is a perfectly good answer.
Step 2
Talk it through
Someone from our team will reply by email to learn a little more and talk about where your gifts could help most — whether that's an app, a lesson, or a way of telling the story.
Step 3
Start with something small
Most volunteers begin with one defined piece of work, like a bug fix, a first draft of a lesson, or a week of posts, so you can see how we work before taking on more.
Step 4
Serve at your own pace
After that, you decide how involved to be. Some volunteers help with one project; others stay for the long haul. Both are a gift.
What we ask of volunteers
- Serve in a way that honors Christ and the churches and believers we serve.
- Treat anything you see about a church or a user as confidential — congregations trust us with their people.
- Be honest about your time. It's always fine to say you need to step back.
- Keep the work free of cost barriers: we don't add paywalls to the programs we give away.
