Who is Faith Software for?
Churches and believers. On the church side, that's mostly small congregations — volunteer admins, bi-vocational pastors, and small staff teams who love their people and feel behind on the digital side of ministry. We serve them through free Training and the myChelper church app, website, and giving platform. On the individual side, we serve believers who want a daily rhythm of Scripture and prayer through SOAPaDay, and worshippers who pray the Coptic Orthodox hours through Agpeya.
Are you a church software company?
No — we're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Faith Software, Inc. (EIN 42-3505436). We build software, but as charitable programs rather than products: there are no investors and no profits distributed to anyone. Training is free. SOAPaDay and Agpeya are free for every user. myChelper's core plan is free for every church, and its optional paid plans exist so that free access can stay free.
What's free on myChelper, and what costs money?
Every church can use myChelper's Free plan with no card required — a real app, website, and giving setup for the congregation. Optional paid tiers add capacity for churches that want more; online giving carries a 2% platform fee plus standard card processing. Churches that choose to pay help fund Free access for others. What do SOAPaDay and Agpeya cost?
Nothing. SOAPaDay is free for every user and has no subscription. Agpeya is 100% free on iOS and Android, with no paywall, no subscription, and no forced login. Both are sustained by optional, voluntary gifts, including in-app gift links that nobody is ever required to use. Read more on the SOAPaDay and Agpeya pages.
What do you train people on?
Practical decisions and skills for digital ministry, in 13 short modules across two classes. Foundations covers what to weigh before choosing any tool — ownership, total cost, adoption, and how churches communicate, give, and welcome newcomers. Build is hands-on: setting up a digital home base, a website, an app home screen, online giving, announcements, and events and groups, then launching to a congregation. How is Training different from signing up for myChelper?
Training teaches; myChelper is a tool. The training is free to read with no account, and it's written to help you choose well whatever platform your church ends up on — lessons name real alternatives alongside our own tools. Signing up for myChelper creates a church account on our secure admin site (admin.mychelper.com) with an app, website, and giving page — that's normal for this kind of program, and your login stays on that secure admin, not on faithsoftware.org. The Build class uses myChelper for its demonstrations, so churches that do choose it can follow along on the real thing, but nothing in the training requires it.
Do I have to use your software to take the training?
No. The training is meant to help you choose well — including tools that aren't ours. You don't need an account to read any lesson or take any quiz.
Where do I create a myChelper church account?
Church accounts are created on our secure admin at admin.mychelper.com — the same place leaders manage their app and website day to day. faithsoftware.org explains the equipping program, free training, and how gifts keep Free access open; when you're ready, use the myChelper program page for context, then create a free church account from there.
How does faithsoftware.org relate to mychelper.com?
Both belong to Faith Software, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. faithsoftware.org is our charitable home — Training, all four programs, giving, governance, and financial transparency. mychelper.com is the public site for the myChelper program name and marketing; churches manage their accounts on admin.mychelper.com. You don't need to browse mychelper.com to understand what's free: our on-domain myChelper program page and free training are written for that.
How can I help?

Are donations tax-deductible? How do I get a receipt?
Faith Software, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-3505436). Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For a written acknowledgment of a gift, email care@faithsoftware.org with the name on the gift and its approximate date and amount.
